DID Press: China warned the US against any military action or “adventurism” targeting Iran, during a public session of the UN Security Council.
Fu Cong, China’s Permanent Representative to the UN, emphasized that any military move by Washington could push the Middle East into a period of instability and unpredictability, with broad consequences for regional security.
He stressed that the use of force is not a solution to crises and called on all parties, particularly the U.S., to exercise restraint, respect national sovereignty, and uphold the principles of the UN Charter.
China further underscored the importance of prioritizing diplomacy and avoiding actions that could escalate tensions.
