Kabul, Tashkent Signed 25 MoU Worth $300M

DID Press: At the Afghanistan-Uzbekistan Trade Cooperation meeting, attended by Nooruddin Azizi, Minister of Industry and Commerce of the Taliban government, and Arkinjon Turdimov, Governor of Syrdarya, both sides signed 25 memoranda of understanding valued at over $300 million.

These agreements cover sectors including construction, food products, agriculture, furniture, clothing, and medicine.

Highlighting the unprecedented expansion of relations between the two countries in recent years, Nooruddin Azizi said the volume of trade between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan in 2025 has increased compared to 2024.

Meanwhile, Arkinjon Turdimov emphasized strengthening joint activities in industrial sectors, enterprises, and the implementation of new practical projects.
