UN Urges Immediate Aid for Vulnerable Families in Afghanistan During Ramadan
DID Press: International organizations extended greetings to the people of Afghanistan while warning of worsening humanitarian and food crises, calling for immediate support for vulnerable families, as the holy month of Ramadan begins.

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) said it will continue to stand with Afghanistan communities throughout Ramadan and the year ahead.
The UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) expressed hope that Ramadan brings peace and hope to the people of Afghanistan.
The EU also offered its greetings and emphasized the importance of solidarity and aid for those in need.
These warnings come amid Afghanistan’s severe economic and food insecurity, with rising food prices during Ramadan placing additional pressure on struggling households.
