US Host Says Israel Questioned His Team at Ben Gurion Airport
DID Press: American commentator and podcaster Tucker Carlson claimed Israeli security officials detained and questioned his team at Ben Gurion Airport after he traveled there to conduct an interview with U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee.

Carlson said security personnel confiscated his team’s passports and took his executive producer to a separate room for questioning about the content of the interview. He described the experience as “strange” and said he left the country afterward.
U.S. Embassy officials and Israeli authorities rejected the account, saying no detention or special interrogation took place and that only routine passport-control questions were asked. They added that taking travelers aside for private questioning is a standard airport procedure for many passengers.
