Both sides emphasized expanding economic cooperation, strengthening neighborly relations, and enhancing transport linkages. Minister Muttaqi highlighted the potential of existing bilateral ties and stressed the importance of joint efforts to leverage opportunities for regional economic development.

Earlier, Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed the international agreement for the project. With the start of the feasibility study, practical steps are being taken toward launching the corridor.

The project is expected to significantly improve transport infrastructure, facilitate trade among regional countries, and contribute to stability and prosperity. In the long term, the corridor could enhance trade not only between Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, and Pakistan but also with other Central Asian nations and beyond.
