DID Press: Beijing has called for restraint as speculation grows over possible limited military options by the United States amid ongoing nuclear talks with Iran.

Mao Ning, spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated Tuesday that China is closely monitoring developments. He urged all parties to resolve disputes through dialogue, emphasizing that escalating tensions in the Middle East benefits no one.
While not commenting directly on reports of potential US actions, Mao stressed the importance of regional stability and warned against steps that could further heighten conflict.
These remarks come as international attention focuses on Washington’s approach to Iran’s nuclear program and the prospects for the upcoming third round of negotiations, underscoring global concern over any unilateral moves that could destabilize the region.
