Normal flow of transfers through the country’s 4 railway ports

DID Press: The press office of the Ministry of Public Works of the Taliban government announced that the transfer of goods through the country’s four railway ports continues in an orderly manner and without any obstacles.

The press office of this ministry reported today, Thursday (March 5), that in the past week from (Feb 27 to March 3), a total of 127,650 metric tons of goods were transferred through the railway lines. According to details, this amount includes transfers from the country’s four main ports:

Hairatan Port: 88,186 tons
Aqina Port: 10,769 tons
Turghundi Port: 14,123 tons
Khaf-Herat Port: 14,572 tons

These shipments include oil, non-oil goods, and other materials. Also, during the same period, 265 tons of commercial goods were exported from the country, the majority of which consisted of dried fruits and mineral stones.

Mullah Muhammad Isa Thani, Minister of Public Works, has instructed the officials of four ports and the heads of the Public Works Directorates of the relevant provinces to provide more facilities to traders for the transportation of raw materials and foodstuffs under the current sensitive conditions.

The Ministry of Public Works has also announced that it is striving to provide suitable and secure conditions for transportation via the country’s transit routes for traders and freight vehicles.
