China Expresses Condolences After Iran’s Leader Martyrdom

DID Press: Following the announcement of the assassination of Ayatullah Sayed Ali Khamenei, Miao Deyu, Vice Foreign Minister of China, visited the Iranian Embassy to convey the official condolences and sympathy of the Chinese government and people.

During the visit, Miao Deyu delivered Beijing’s formal message of condolence to Iranian embassy officials, signed the embassy’s memorial book, and expressed solidarity with the Iranian government and nation. Chinese officials emphasized the importance of bilateral relations and affirmed China’s support for Iran during this period.

Political and economic cooperation between the two countries has expanded in recent years, with strategic collaborations across multiple sectors. This gesture comes as other international governments and officials also issued condolences in response to the incident.
