Over 250 Afghan Nationals Arrested in Karachi

DID Press: Pakistani authorities reported that during recent security operations in Karachi, more than 250 Afghan nationals residing illegally in the city were detained.

According to reports, the detainees were apprehended from multiple districts, including City, East, and South. Specifically, over 180 were arrested in the City area, more than 50 in East, and over 25 in South.

Local officials stated that after completing legal procedures, the detained individuals will be transferred to specialized Afghan migrant camps for further processing regarding their residency status.

These arrests are part of ongoing operations aimed at identifying and managing the presence of undocumented migrants in Karachi.
