US Military Operation Against Iran Costs $3.7B in First 4 Days

DID Press: Reports from US media indicate that the initial days of the American military operation against Iran have incurred significant costs. According to the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), expenditures during the first 100 hours of the operation reached approximately $3.7 billion, averaging around $891 million per day.

ABC News, citing the same analysis, noted that the intensity of early strikes and extensive use of precision munitions were key drivers of the high costs. Separately, the Wall Street Journal reported that the movement and deployment of U.S. forces in the region prior to the attacks amounted to roughly $630 million.

These figures emerge amid growing domestic debate over the financial and economic implications of continued warfare, fueling unprecedented taxpayer dissatisfaction with former President Donald Trump’s military actions.
