Taliban Leader Allocates Land for Cold Storage Facilities in Panjshir

DID Press: Leader of the Taliban, Hibatullah Akhundzada, has ordered the allocation of 1,000 jeribs of land in Panjshir Province for the construction of modern cold storage facilities intended for preserving fresh fruit.

According to the media office of the Taliban-appointed provincial governor in Panjshir, the facilities will be built using modern technology and in line with current standards to improve the storage of agricultural products and enhance the quality of fruit exports.

The initiative has been described as part of efforts to support farmers and develop the agricultural sector in Panjshir. Local officials say the project represents an important step toward better management of agricultural produce and reducing post-harvest losses.
