DID Press: Noam Amir warned that Iran is seeking to challenge Israel with new-generation missiles, including cluster warheads capable of causing significant casualties.

According to Amir, cluster warheads—often described as “rain bombs”—can disperse multiple submunitions over a wide area, potentially leading to large numbers of deaths and injuries. He cautioned that such weapons should not be underestimated.
The analyst also raised concerns about the shortening time between air-raid sirens and missile impact. Questions have emerged about whether radar systems have been damaged or whether the missiles involved are of a different type with faster trajectories.
Amir warned that civilians should be prepared for scenarios in which warning times may become much shorter—or in some cases unavailable altogether before a strike.
