Palestinian Ulama Council Pledges Allegiance to Iran’s New Leader

DID Press: Sheikh Hussein Qassem, head of the Palestinian Council of Ulama, announced that the council has formally pledged allegiance to Ayatollah Sayed Mojtaba Khamenei, Iran’s newly appointed leader.

In a statement, Sheikh Qassem emphasized that this pledge renews the council’s commitment to the leadership path upheld by previous leaders and reflects a bond of responsibility, resilience, and steadfastness against oppression.

He described the pledge as grounded in patience, perseverance, and resistance to tyranny, signaling the council’s dedication to supporting the Iranian leadership and the principles it represents.

Sheikh Qassem added that this stance reflects the will of a people determined not to submit to injustice, and expressed hope for the divine fulfillment of aid to the oppressed and the establishment of justice in lands where freedom and resistance prevail.
