DID Press: Ayman Odeh, an Arab member of Israel’s parliament, the Knesset, has criticized the war policies of the government led by Benjamin Netanyahu, warning that it would fail in a potential conflict with Iran.

Speaking during a parliamentary session, Odeh questioned the government’s strategy, arguing that a cabinet that failed to achieve its objectives in the war against Hamas could not realistically expect victory in a confrontation with Iran.
He said the current policies of the Israeli government were pushing the region toward deeper tensions and instability, warning that such an approach could lead to dangerous consequences for regional security.
Odeh also called for a motion of no confidence against Netanyahu’s cabinet, arguing that continuing with the current leadership would expose Israel to serious political and security challenges.
His remarks come as tensions between Iran and Israel have risen in recent weeks, fueling growing debate within Israel over the government’s handling of the crisis. Several Israeli politicians and analysts have warned about the risks of a wider confrontation with Iran.
