Pakistan Conducts Airstrikes in Afghanistan, Destroys Border Base Ammunition Depot
DID Press: Pakistani security sources report that the Pakistan Air Force carried out airstrikes on positions in Paktika Province, targeting alleged security threats along the border with Taliban-controlled areas.

According to the sources, the strikes hit several positions, including an ammunition depot at the “Shahin” border outpost, which was completely destroyed. Additional border posts near the Shawal region in South Waziristan were reportedly damaged using explosives.
The operation was conducted with fighter aircraft, and multiple military facilities near the border sustained damage. Some personnel stationed in the targeted areas reportedly withdrew following the strikes. Pakistani military officials emphasized that readiness remains high, and further operations could continue if perceived threats persist.
No official comment has been made by Taliban authorities. Analysts warn that the escalation could further destabilize security along the Afghanistan–Pakistan border.
