Pakistan Denies Sending Delegation to Kabul for Talks with Taliban
DID Press: Officials in Pakistan rejected reports that a government delegation was sent to Kabul for negotiations with the Taliban administration in Afghanistan.

According to official sources, claims circulating on social media that a three-member Pakistani delegation traveled to Kabul for talks are baseless.
The sources stressed that Islamabad’s position remains unchanged, insisting that the Afghan Taliban must stop supporting what Pakistan calls “Fitna al-Khawarij,” a term it uses to refer to the banned militant group Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
They said no negotiations will take place until the Taliban authorities take serious action against the group.
Pakistani officials also stated that their country will continue operations against alleged militant hideouts inside Afghanistan.
The denial comes as tensions along the Afghanistan–Pakistan border continue to rise, with the presence of TTP members in Afghanistan remaining one of Islamabad’s key security concerns.
