DID Press: New York Times reported that Iran’s aggressive response to US attacks has forced Washington to revise its operational plans and accelerate embassy evacuations in the region.
Highlighting a recent Iranian drone strike on a luxury hotel in Erbil, the analysis noted that Tehran demonstrated precise awareness of Pentagon personnel locations in regional hotels.
According to the report, by withstanding the initial wave of U.S. attacks, Iran is now positioned to “declare victory.” U.S. military officials acknowledged that the assassination of Iran’s revolutionary leader at the start of the conflict did not cripple Tehran’s operational capabilities, and contrary to early assessments, the country is not behaving like a “collapsed” system.
