Taliban Strikes Key Pakistani Military Sites in Kohat

DID Press: Taliban’s Ministry of Defense announced that in response to last night’s Pakistani airstrikes on Afghan territory, its air forces targeted key military facilities in Kohat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa early today.

According to the ministry, the Kohat military fortress, the command center along the Durand Line, and the fortress commander’s office were among the primary targets. Several installations, depots, and Pakistani troop positions were reportedly destroyed in the operation.

Meanwhile, Abdul Salam Zaeef, former Taliban ambassador to Islamabad, condemned Pakistan’s strikes as a “great injustice, a crime, and a cowardly act,” asserting that the military regime failed to achieve its objectives and labeling it the “enemy of every Afghan.” He emphasized that targeting civilians reveals the true nature of the Pakistani regime.
