DID Press: New reports indicate that far more American troops were wounded in Iran’s earlier strike on a military base in Kuwait than initially disclosed. According to information cited by Al Jazeera, more than 100—and possibly up to 150—members of the United States Armed Forces were injured in the attack carried out by Iran at the start of the conflict.

Initial reports had suggested that only seven members of the United States National Guard were wounded, but updated information released over the past 24 hours points to a significantly higher number of casualties.
The injured personnel were reportedly transferred for treatment to three military hospitals—two located in the United States and one in Landstuhl, home to a major U.S. military medical center.
Reports indicate that some of the troops transported to Germany suffered severe injuries, with at least one case reportedly facing the possibility of amputation.
The delayed disclosure has raised questions about why the U.S. military revealed the scale of the injuries nearly two weeks after the conflict began.
