WSJ: 5 US Aerial Refueling Aircraft Damaged in Iranian Strike on Saudi Base

DID Press: Wall Street Journal has reported that five US Air Force aerial refueling aircraft were damaged following an Iranian rocket attack on Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia.

According to the report, citing two American officials, the refueling aircraft were parked on the ground at the base when the rockets struck, causing varying degrees of damage.

The sources said the tankers, which belong to the United States Air Force, were not completely destroyed. Technical teams have reportedly begun repair and restoration work, although the full extent of the damage has not yet been disclosed.

U.S. officials also stated that despite the damage to some equipment, operations at Prince Sultan Air Base have not been fully halted and the facility continues to function.
