DID Press: A new phase of escalation unfolded overnight in the confrontation involving Iran, the United States and Israel, as Iranian media reported successive waves of military operations under the codename “True Promise 4.”

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said the 46th wave of the operation began early in the night with the code phrase “Ya Sahib al-Zaman,” targeting U.S. and Israeli military sites. According to the statement, dozens of locations were struck, including sites in Tel Aviv, Rishon LeZion and Shoham, as well as U.S. military installations in the region such as Prince Sultan facilities in Saudi Arabia and bases in Erbil.
Iranian outlets later reported that Israel’s senior Ashkenazi rabbi was killed in one of the attacks. Meanwhile, the Lebanese group Hezbollah announced it had launched suicide drones against Israeli troop concentrations near the settlement of Ya’ara, describing the strike as part of a coordinated response to recent developments.
Reports also emerged of casualties among U.S. forces. The The Wall Street Journal cited a U.S. official as saying 13 American soldiers were killed and around 200 wounded in recent Iranian attacks. The The Jerusalem Post separately reported that more than 30 U.S. troops were hospitalized in Kuwait after an attack on the Al-Shuaiba base, with some injuries described as serious.
In Israel, a member of the Knesset acknowledged that more than 2,000 Israelis had been killed or wounded during the ongoing confrontation, describing the country as facing a “war of attrition.”
Elsewhere, media reports indicated a large fire at Al Udeid Air Base, where American forces are stationed. In Baghdad, entrances to the fortified Green Zone were closed after damage to an air-defense system at the U.S. embassy compound.
Regional groups also signaled increasing coordination. Mohammed al‑Bukhaiti of Ansar Allah said the group had decided to stand alongside Iran and would announce the timing of its next steps later.
By early morning, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced the 48th wave of “True Promise 4,” saying solid-fuel “Kheibar Shekan” and liquid-fuel “Qadr” missiles, along with attack drones, targeted sites in northern Israel including Galilee, the Golan Heights and the port city of Haifa, as well as U.S. positions across the region.
Iranian commanders also claimed that the accuracy rate of Iranian missiles hitting targets had doubled in the past 48 hours.
The overnight developments marked one of the most intense periods of fighting so far in the conflict, with sustained operations by Iran and allied groups alongside reports of significant casualties among U.S. and Israeli forces. Despite the escalation, there are still no clear signs of de-escalation, and the regional situation remains highly volatile.
