Food Aid Distributed to Over 1,000 Drought-Affected Families in Afghanistan
DID Press: Authorities in Balkh Province announced that food assistance has been distributed to 1,492 families affected by drought in the Sholgara District.

According to a statement from the National Disaster Management Authority of Afghanistan, the aid was provided to support families facing severe livelihood difficulties due to prolonged drought conditions.
Each household received 50 kilograms of flour, 5 liters of cooking oil, 6.25 kilograms of chickpeas, and half a kilogram of salt.
Officials said efforts are continuing to assist families affected by natural disasters across the country, adding that additional support may be provided if needed.
