Taliban Claim 400 Killed in Alleged Pakistani Airstrike on Kabul Hospital

DID Press: Officials from the Taliban say a Pakistani airstrike on a drug rehabilitation hospital in Kabul has killed 400 people and wounded around 250 others.

Hamdullah Fitrat said the casualties resulted from an attack by Pakistan’s military, though the figures have not been independently verified by international sources.

Some local reports, however, suggest that Taliban military sites may have been the intended targets of the strikes.

Following the incident, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid accused Pakistan of “acting like Israel,” alleging that Islamabad, similar to Israel in Gaza Strip, was targeting medical facilities, residential areas and civilian infrastructure.

Mujahid declared that “the time for negotiations is over” and warned that it is now “time to take revenge on Pakistan.”

No immediate response has been issued by Pakistan authorities regarding the allegations.
