27 scaremongers killed, wounded in North and Northeast

16 insurgents were killed and 11 others wounded during clashes, officials at Shaheen corps say.
“During the clearing operation of “Nawid 3” in Dawlatabad, Khaja-Sabzposh and Shirin-Tagab districts of Faryab province, 16 insurgents were killed and 11 others wounded,” said Nasratullah Jamshidi, a spokesman for Shaheen corps told DID news agency.
“As a result of the operation, Andkhoy-Maimana highway and some other areas are secured from the threat,” Jamshidi added.
According to Jamshidi, 5 scaremongers were killed and 4 others wounded in Imam-Saheb district of Kunduz province, and their weapons were destroyed as well.
