DID Press: Maria Zakharova, Russia’s Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman condemned the missile attack on Iran’s Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant, calling it “irresponsible and completely unacceptable,” and urged decisive action from international organizations.

Zakharova said Moscow expects the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the global community to “explicitly and unequivocally” denounce the strike.
Addressing broader political developments, she warned that “European illusions of delivering a strategic defeat to Russia have themselves been strategically defeated.”
On regional tensions in the Persian Gulf, Zakharova stressed that solutions regarding shipping in the Strait of Hormuz “must be pursued at the negotiation table,” not through escalations.
Her remarks come amid growing international concern over rising regional tensions and their potential impact on energy security and global stability.
