Tashkent Hosts “Made in Afghanistan 2026” Expo to Boost Regional Trade
DID Press: Tashkent is hosting the international “Made in Afghanistan – Tashkent 2026” exhibition from March 25 to 28, a major trade event bringing together around 120 Afghan business representatives aimed at strengthening economic and commercial ties between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan.

The exhibition is being held at the Uzexpocentre, with a delegation from Kabul led by Mohammad Karim Khushimi participating in the event. Organizers say the exhibition provides a key platform to showcase Afghanistan’s domestically produced goods and services to regional markets.
A range of activities is scheduled during the expo, including business-to-business (B2B) meetings, trade negotiations, and the signing of cooperation agreements between Afghan and Uzbek companies. Officials said the primary objective is to expand economic partnerships and increase Afghanistan’s export volume.
The “Made in Afghanistan” exhibition has been organized by the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment (ACCI) in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, with support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The initiative focuses on promoting Afghanistan’s production capacity and strengthening regional trade connectivity.
The event comes as Afghanistan seeks to boost exports, attract new markets, and play a more active role in regional commerce amid ongoing economic challenges.
