DID Press: Rafael Grossi has indicated that negotiations between Iran and the United States could potentially take place in Islamabad in the coming days, with a broader agenda than previous rounds of dialogue.

In an interview with the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency said he believes discussions may be held toward the end of the week, although he did not provide details about the level of representation or the composition of negotiating delegations.
Grossi suggested that any future talks might extend beyond Iran’s nuclear پرونده to include a wider range of bilateral disputes between Tehran and Washington, a shift that could signal a change in the framework of past negotiations.
His remarks come as Iranian officials have repeatedly denied that any direct or indirect negotiations with the United States are currently underway, maintaining that no dialogue process has begun.
The potential selection of Islamabad as a venue for talks has drawn attention among observers, given Pakistan’s diplomatic ties with both parties and its periodic role in facilitating regional mediation.
