DID Press: Enayatullah Khwarazmi, spokesperson for the Taliban Ministry of National Defense, stated that all areas along the disputed Durand Line are currently under the full control of Afghan security forces.

Khwarazmi said the country’s defense forces remain firmly committed to protecting every part of Afghan territory and have implemented necessary operational measures to maintain territorial security. He emphasized that safeguarding national sovereignty remains a core responsibility of security institutions.
According to the spokesperson, special attention has been directed toward remote and difficult-to-access areas along the border, where additional security deployments and readiness measures have been established. He noted that forces stationed in these areas are operating at a high level of preparedness to respond to potential threats or cross-border incidents.
Khwarazmi also reassured citizens that there is no cause for concern regarding the status of border مناطق, stressing that government authority and operational control are being maintained across the entire frontier zone.
