DID Press: Russia’s special envoy for Afghanistan, Zamir Kabulov, highlighted the persistent threat of terrorist groups in Afghanistan and called for joint action by the Taliban and Pakistan.
Speaking to RIA Novosti, Kabulov stressed that no single country can defeat terrorism alone and that regional cooperation is essential. He urged Taliban-Pakistan collaboration over confrontation to curb extremist activity and stabilize the region.
Kabulov warned that ongoing conflicts risk further destabilizing Afghanistan and enabling extremist growth. This comes amid a recent wave of Pakistani airstrikes targeting Taliban military bases, depots, and training centers across the country.
