Kabul, Tashkent Focus on Expanding Pharmaceutical Production and Exports
DID Press: Minister of Industry and Commerce of the Taliban administration emphasized strengthening bilateral cooperation in pharmaceutical production and exports during a meeting with the governor of Namangan, Uzbekistan.

During the talks, both sides discussed joint marketing of products, cooperation in the poultry sector, and investment opportunities in the extraction and trade of precious and semi-precious stones.
Nooruddin Azizi noted that Afghanistan’s private sector is ready to collaborate with Uzbek traders, identifying the expansion of pharmaceutical markets and increased medicine exports as key priorities of the negotiations.
At the same time, Uzbek officials invited the ministry’s leadership to attend the historic Flower Festival held annually in the city of Namangan.
