DID Press: British newspaper The Times reported that at least 13 US military bases in the region suffered extensive damage after Iranian missile and drone attacks. According to the report, even advanced air defense systems stationed at these bases failed to prevent the strikes.
The report noted that critical infrastructure at these bases, including runways, operational systems, and fuel lines, sustained significant damage. Some U.S. personnel were forced to relocate to temporary shelters.
Regional media sources also reported that hundreds of American service members were injured, with a significant number killed, and that the financial cost of the damage during the first weeks of the conflict has reached hundreds of millions of dollars.
