543 Afghan Families Repatriate from Pakistan via Border Crossings

DID Press: Local sources report the return of 543 Afghan families from Pakistan through various border crossings, as part of the ongoing repatriation process of Afghan migrants from neighboring countries.

According to details provided, the majority of returnees entered Afghanistan via the Torkham border crossing in Nangarhar, with 417 families arriving through this route.

An additional 122 families returned via the Spin Boldak border crossing in Kandahar. Meanwhile, the Islam Qala border crossing in Herat recorded the entry of 4 Afghan families.

These border crossings remain among the primary routes for movement between Afghanistan and neighboring countries.

Observers note that the recent increase in repatriations may be driven by various factors, including economic conditions, residency pressures, and new policies in host countries.
