DID Press: Ehud Barak, former Prime Minister of Israel, stated that the outlook for success against Iran appears increasingly bleak amid the ongoing conflict.

Barak emphasized that assessments of the war’s progress so far have relied more on hopeful assumptions and optimistic interpretations than on precise strategic planning.
He also warned that counting on scenarios such as the collapse of the Iranian government through military pressure or internal public unrest has not produced results and could lead to counterproductive consequences.
According to Barak, more than a month into the clashes, neither the United States nor Israel has achieved significant gains, and claims of decisive victories are inconsistent with on-the-ground realities.
