Afghan Currency Gains 10.77% Against Dollar in 2025
DID Press: Central Bank of Afghanistan announced that the Afghani appreciated by 10.77% against the US dollar in the year 2025, maintaining the country’s monetary stability.

Nur Ahmad Agha, Governor of the Central Bank of Afghanistan, stated that the Afghani’s value increased by 10.77% against the dollar, ensuring continued financial stability.
He added that total bank assets grew by 4.69% during the same year, reflecting a strengthening banking sector and rising public confidence in banks.
The governor also noted that during the “High Council of the Central Bank” meeting, planned programs and initiatives for the year 2025 were reviewed and discussed.
