Over 9,400 Passports Issued for Afghan Pilgrims

DID Press: Passport Directorate of the Taliban Ministry of Interior announced that, ahead of the dispatch of pilgrims to Saudi Arabia, thousands of passports have been urgently printed and distributed.

Officials at the directorate stated that 9,425 passports were printed and handed out to Afghan pilgrims in a short period.

The office emphasized that services were provided intensively, even on the first day of Eid al-Fitr, with special arrangements for Hajj applicants.

Each year, thousands of citizens register to perform the Hajj pilgrimage, and obtaining a passport is a key step in this process. Citizens have called for continued transparent and non-discriminatory service in the future.
