DID Press: Kamala Harris, Democratic candidate and political rival of Donald Trump in the 2024 election, sharply criticized the president’s war policies, stating that Trump has “threatened to commit war crimes and destroy an entire civilization—while having launched a disastrous war without any plan or strategy to end it.”
Harris described these remarks as “abhorrent,” asserting that the American public does not support such behavior. She warned that Trump’s recklessness unnecessarily endangers the lives of U.S. troops, weakens the global standing of the United States, and increases the cost of living for ordinary citizens.
According to her, the president’s actions place brave American service members at needless risk, undermine international credibility, and make life more expensive for Americans at home.
The prominent Democratic figure concluded by calling on the American people to take a stand, urging them to oppose funding what she described as an “illegal and elective war.”
