Hezbollah Threatens Renewed Conflict if Israel Fails to Halt Strikes

DID Press: Hezbollah has issued a stark warning that if Israel does not cease its attacks on Lebanese territory and withdraw from southern areas by 2:00 PM Beirut time, the group will revoke its commitment to the ceasefire. This statement is considered the strongest warning from Hezbollah since the recent escalation of tensions.

Simultaneously, Tehran-based Kayhan reported, citing an informed source in Iran, that a “direct warning process” has begun behind the scenes. If Israel does not comply with the ceasefire in Lebanon, the conflict could resume “within hours.” The source added that the responsibility for ensuring Israel’s adherence to the ceasefire lies with United States.

These statements come as the situation along the Lebanon-Israel border remains fragile, with any ceasefire violations potentially triggering a rapid resumption of hostilities.
