DID Press: A spokesperson for the Iran Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that a delegation from Tehran will travel to Islamabad today to participate in peace negotiations. However, Iran’s participation is contingent on Israel ceasing its attacks on Lebanon.
The spokesperson emphasized that any peace agreement in the region must include Lebanon, and the upcoming hours will reveal whether it is possible to curb Israeli actions.
He added that Iran was on the verge of a reactive measure last night but refrained to allow more time for advancing diplomatic efforts.
