Heavy Rain and Flash Floods Forecast Across 17 Provinces in Afghanistan
DID Press: Meteorological Department of the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation has forecast the likelihood of heavy rainfall and flash floods in 17 provinces across Afghanistan.

According to the department’s projections, today (Saturday, 22 Hamal), the provinces of Sar-e Pol, Samangan, Bamyan, Ghor, Baghlan, Takhar, Badakhshan, Nuristan, Kunar, Laghman, Kapisa, Parwan, Nangarhar, Logar, Paktia, Khost, and Paktika are expected to experience rainfall.
The Meteorological Department estimates precipitation levels in various parts of these provinces to range between 10 and 35 millimeters, raising concerns about possible flash flooding in vulnerable areas.
