Iranian Consul Calls for Strengthening Milak Border Trade Corridor

DID Press: Embassy of Iran in Kabul stated that Mohammadreza Nafar, the Iranian Consul General in Kandahar, met with officials from Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan province as well as local authorities at the Milak Border Crossing.

During the meeting, participants emphasized the importance of strengthening the Milak border crossing as a major hub for trade and transit between Iran and Afghanistan.

Officials agreed that the operational capacity of the Milak crossing should be enhanced in line with major Iranian ports such as Bandar Abbas and Chabahar, in order to facilitate and accelerate commercial exchanges and transit flows between the two countries.
