Uzbek Trade Delegation Visits Kabul to Expand Economic and Cultural Cooperation

DID Press: A delegation of traders and private-sector representatives from Andijan province of Uzbekistan, led by the provincial governor, has arrived in Kabul to participate in a series of business meetings and economic programs. The delegation was welcomed by officials of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment (ACCI).

During a meeting between ACCI leadership and the Uzbek delegation, both sides discussed investment opportunities, expansion of economic relations, and strengthening bilateral cooperation. The two parties emphasized their readiness to further enhance trade ties and deepen economic collaboration.

As part of the visit, the Uzbek delegation also toured the Babur Garden, describing the visit as a sign of the importance of preserving shared cultural heritage and strengthening cultural links between the two countries.

In another joint session between the Andijan delegation and Afghan trade officials, issues related to commerce, investment, and transit were reviewed. Both sides highlighted existing challenges facing traders and agreed on the need to identify practical joint solutions to facilitate economic activity.
