Brazil’s President Accuses Israeli PM of “Genocide” in Gaza
DID Press: Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva accused Benjamin Netanyahu of committing genocide and called for a serious response from the international community.

In his latest remarks, the Brazilian president strongly criticized Israel’s military policies and operations in the Gaza Strip, stating that the actions of the government led by Netanyahu constitute what he views as “genocide.”
Referring to the rising number of civilian casualties—particularly among women and children—Lula described the humanitarian situation in Gaza as “deeply alarming.” He warned that the continuation of current developments would not only intensify the humanitarian crisis but could also produce dangerous consequences for regional and international peace and stability.
The Brazilian president also called on international institutions, including the United Nations, to take immediate and effective measures to halt the fighting and facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid to affected areas.
He emphasized that silence from the global community in the face of such events is unacceptable.
Lula further stressed the importance of respecting international law and human rights, stating that the world must respond to widespread violations against civilians and take action to bring the situation to an end.
