2nd Wave of Covid-19 in Afghanistan; 27 Death and 232 new Cases
The Ministry of Public Health announced that in the last 24 hours, 27 patients died and 232 news cases were registered in Afghanistan.
The Ministry said in a statement on Monday that 232 coronavirus cases out of 1,350 suspicious samples were turned out positive in the past 24 hours.
According to the statement, the positive cases were registered in Kabul, Herat, Kandahar, Balkh, Nangarhar, Takhar, Baghlan, Kunduz, Parwan, Nimruz, Daikundi, Logar, Maidan Wardak, Laghman, Zabul, Faryab, Uruzgan, and Sar-e Pul provinces.
In the past 24 hours, 27 people lost their lives due to Covid-19 in the country. The total number of death has so far reached 1,902 in the country, the statement said.
At the same time, 202 patients have been recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 37,984 across Afghanistan.
