In the past 24 hours, 701 suspicious samples were tested in the laboratories, in which, 351 new cases were positive, the Ministry said on Sunday.
Kabul, Balkh, Herat, Nangarhar, Kandahar and Paktia have the highest number of infections.
According to the Ministry, in the past 24 hours, 2,967 patients have been recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 12,588.
At the same time, 34 patients died from the virus. The total number of deaths reached 737 across the country.
