Taliban insurgents abducted 8 employees of Breshna’s KEC company around 10 am on Sunday that seven of them were Indian citizens.
“Armed oppositions kidnapped 8 employee and engineers of electricity department today morning in Baghlan province,” said Zabihullah Shoja, a spokesman for the provincial police headquarter.
“Breshna employees were abducted in (Sarak-e Mulayan) area by Mullah Shahin, a commander of Taliban group,” Mr Shoja added.
Security sources in northern Baghlan province have launched their operation to release the employees of Breshna electricity company.
