8 women smugglers released from prison

According to the decree of the president, 8 women who had been imprisoned for drug trafficking, were released from jail on the occasion of March 8th (international women day).
According to (DID) news agency report; these women had been sentenced to six to ten years imprisonment on charges of drug trafficking by three-courts of the country.
Police had detained these eight ladies on charges of separate cases of drug trafficking during 2013 to 2015 from different provinces and were sent to this center for trial.

Meanwhile, 7 male prisoners who had been sentenced on charges of drug trafficking by three-courts of the country, were released from prison in separate commands of the presidency.
However, 28 women had been arrested in relation to drug trafficking during 2016 and were sent to judicial and justice center that counter-narcotics and intoxicants crimes for trial.
