M. Ashraf Ghani at the head of a high-level delegation met Thursday Pakistani PM Imran Khan and FM Shah Mahmood Qureshi in Islamabad.
One on one meeting was held between Prime Minister Imran Khan and Ashraf Ghani in Islamabad, according to reports.
Matters pertaining to bilateral cooperation in various sectors and regional situation were discussed in the meeting.

Meanwhile, delegation level talks between Pakistan and Afghanistan are underway in Islamabad.
Prime Minister Imran Khan is leading the Pakistani side while the Afghan delegation is being headed by Ashraf Ghani.

During the meeting, the Pakistani Foreign Minister said his country will continue playing its role for peace in Afghanistan with sincerity, good intentions and open heart.

The Minister expressed confidence that the Afghan President’s visit to Pakistan will bring the two countries closer and strengthen bilateral relations.
