The Ministry of Public Health announced Saturday that 345 new positive cases were recorded in the past 24 hours in Afghanistan.
The Ministry of Public Health announced Saturday that 345 new positive cases were recorded in the past 24 hours in Afghanistan.
“In the last 24 hours, out of 1113 samples tested in different laboratories, 349 positive cases of Coronavirus have been registered in the country,” said Wahidullah Majroh, deputy to the Ministry of Public Health during a press conference in Kabul. Adding that “6,402 of our citizens have been infected with the virus so far”.
According to him, in the last 24 hours, 15 of our citizens died as a result of this disease, bringing the total number of casualties to 168 while 33 patients have recovered which brings the total number to 778.
The number of registered cases in the provinces of the country are as follows: Kabul (126), Paktia (56), Nangarhar (37), Balkh (31), Herat (29), Baghlan (11), Logar (10), Kandahar (10), Sar-e Pul (8), Laghman (8), Takhar (7), Jawzjan (5), Badghis (5), Kunduz (3), Panjshir (1), Bamyan (1), and Maidan Wardak (1).
