COVID-19 cases Exceed 20,000 in Afghanistan

The Ministry of Public Health announced that 791 positive cases were recorded in Afghanistan, bringing the total to 20,342.

The Ministry of Public Health announced that 791 positive cases were recorded in Afghanistan, bringing the total to 20,342.
The Ministry announced on Sunday that in the past 24 hours, 791 positive coronavirus cases were registered nationwide.

With this, the total number of patients in Afghanistan has reached 20,342 so far.
Kabul, Herat, Nangarhar, Kandahar and Paktia recorded the highest number of infections.

According to the Ministry, 45 patients have recovered in past 24 hours, bringing the total to 1,875 across the country.
At the same time, 30 patients died from the virus which brings the total number of deaths to 357 in the country.
