564 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Afghanistan
The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) on Wednesday announced that 564 new positive coronavirus cases registered in the country from 1,116 samples tested in the past 24 hours.
The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) on Wednesday announced that 564 new positive coronavirus cases registered in the country from 1,116 samples tested in the past 24 hours.
The ministry reported 13 new deaths from COVID-19 and 650 recoveries in the past 24 hours.
With this, the total cases are now 26,874 nationwide, the total number of deaths are 504, and the total recoveries are 6,158.
Kabul, Balkh, Herat and Nangarhar have the highest number of infections.
The Ministry once again urged the people to take the quarantine seriously.
